Cookie Policy
Slynkz sets two cookies, both of them strictly necessary, and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. This page lists exactly what is stored and why.
Why you are not seeing a consent banner
Cookie banners exist because most sites load tracking that requires your consent. We do not load any. The only cookies Slynkz sets are the ones needed to keep you signed in and to protect a sensitive account action — which are “strictly necessary” under the ePrivacy Directive and do not require consent.
We would rather have no trackers than a banner asking permission for them.
Cookies we set

What we do not set
No analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting pixels, no social media trackers, no session-recording or heatmap tools, and no cross-site identifiers. There is no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or equivalent on this site.
Local storage, which is not a cookie
Your browser also remembers two preferences on your own device using local storage: whether you chose the light or dark theme, and whether you collapsed the portal sidebar. These never leave your browser and are not sent to us with any request. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Error monitoring
We use Sentry to record application errors so that crashes get fixed. It is used for diagnostics rather than tracking, and it does not set advertising cookies. It is listed on our subprocessors page along with everyone else who processes data on our behalf.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will prevent you from signing in to the account portal — that is the trade, and it is the only thing that breaks.
The desktop app is not a browser page and does not use cookies for your local workspace at all. What it stores locally is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting it.
